Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus, noone is going to be able to see these terrific photographs in person so we are using the power of social media (Facebook,  Instagram and Twitter) to create a Virtual Exhibition to allow all to be able to see them!

One photographer and their work will be posted each day over 35 days.

All works are for sale (details in the individual post). If you are interested in purchasing one of these works, then please email us at to express your interest.

From L.S Lowry to Lucian Freud, and Grayson Perry to Henry Moore, they're proud to be using the Art on Tour programme to bring our awesome art collection to more people in more places.

Launched in late 2019, Art on Tour was originally conceived as a Swindon-wide outreach programme, with an extensive schools learning offer, community engagement events, and an off-site exhibitions programme. Sadly, like everyone else, the Art on Tour team have needed to consider alternative ways to engage communities and have put their previous plans on-hold. BUT, theyare not deterred in their mission to bring the Swindon Art Collection to all four corners of the globe! The team have flexed their creative muscles and GONE DIGITAL! This means that you can explore and engage with the Collection, and get involved, from the comfort of your own sofa!

Make use of the daily Art Burst children’s resources to keep little hands and minds occupied! Use the daily Art Challenges to entertain all the family! Be amazed by the Art Snap podcasts - the best that art history has to offer, in a nutshell! Explore inspiring online galleries! Be part of the conversation with the Art on Tour blog! Get involved by creating your own masterpieces and see them displayed in the Art on Tour virtual gallery!
