- 12:00After the restrictions of Winter and lockdown, the choice of artwork for this exhibition is driven by the optimism of the arrival of Spring.

The slow reduction of restrictions allows us to look forward to enjoying the changes that Spring brings, followed by the arrival of Summer.
The artwork reflects these changes with the soft greens of Spring, early flowers, and wide skies. This is followed by the warm days of Summer, brighter colours, the casual enjoyment of the warmth, meeting in groups and travel for holidays. Further lifting of restriction leads to the playing of sports and the warmer colours of the harvest season.
Our optimism is finally met with the return of crowds, large groups of people at concerts, fairs, and social events.

- 12:00This exhibition is curated by the Women's Group of the Harbour Project. Over four sessions, participants learnt about Swindon's art collection, and selected works which resonated with them.

They each wrote down words and phrases to describe what they enjoyed and felt about their selected artworks. The exhibition title was chosen by a member of the group, and reflects the variety of artworks chosen, and the diverse perspectives offered.
The Harbour Project aids refugees and asylum seekers across Swindon, providing friendship, advice and hope for visitors to our town. Swindon Museum and Art Gallery has been excited to work with a group that has bought different voices and fresh perspectives to Swindon's art collection.

- 12:00In 1871 the Great Western Railway Hospital in Swindon welcomed their first patient. 150 years later in 2020/21, STEAM Museum welcomed doctors, nurses, other healthcare workers.

All of these people are involved in vaccinating people against Covid19.
To help them relax during their breaks, the Swindon Art on Tour Team have curated a display of artworks selected from the collections at Swindon Museum and Art Gallery. The artworks explore health and wellbeing through themes including creativity, nature and exercise.
Thanks to Art UK’s Curation tool, we are also able to make a digital version of the exhibition available. For more digital outreach from Swindon Museum and Art Gallery, please visit www.swindonmuseumandartgallery.org.uk/artontour.
